Dog Park

High Park Dogs Off-Leash Area and Trails

1873 Bloor St W, Toronto, Ontario

Website

The High Park Dogs Off-Leash Area is a gem for Toronto dogs.

The off-leash area is made up of a very large fenced dog run. The central area is sunny with grass struggling to grow, while a large area is wooded. The entire area is fenced in, but it's so large that you barely notice the fence.

While the large dog run is great, the best part of High Park are the off-leash, fenced trails. There are several kilometres of trails, ranging from flat, wide paved road to narrower groomed trails through the woods. Off-leash trails are clearly identified by signage (see photo below) and are bordered by fences, so there's no danger of dogs running into the woods (unless your dog jumps fences). Please respect the off-leash rules and don't walk off-leash on trails outside the dogs off-leash area.

Commercial dog walkers are allowed.

Parking is available at the Grenadier Café parking lot, or along Colborne Lodge Drive.

About Toronto With Dog

Keith, Valentino and Matthew in the Eastern Townships of Quebec

We're Matthew and Keith, and we created and maintain Toronto With Dog. We live in Corktown with our 8-year-old Doberman, Valentino. We love doing things out and about with our dog, and found there are few resources dedicated to exploring Toronto with your dog.

So we created this website. Its goal is to promote dog-friendly activities and shops in Toronto. This ranges from dog-centric things like dog parks to human-centric things, like dog-friendly stores and terraces.

We have personally done/visited everything listed on this website. Browse our collection, and give them a try.

If you have an activity or a dog-friendly establishment you'd like to recommend, please let us know. We'd love to check it out, and add it to our site.
